These works depict imagined "cult sites" seen from a bird's-eye view.
As the daughter of a passionate glider pilot, some of the analogies are more than familiar to me. One might make sense small huts or villages, or even symbols that conceal their meaning.
Transparency and the hidden, the unraveling of ancient peoples who left their mark, intertwined with nature, which lies over it like a blanket, wanting to preserve a secret. How many fairy tales exist in every country of the world that tell of this magic and its mysteries...
2020 Tela y Linea
I investigate the behavior of body, line, shape and surface and their relationships to each other.
My Tela y Linea - fabric and line - were created in March 2020 and deal with the struggle for survival in times of the Corona pandemic.

018 POSITIONS DIGITAL CITY EULENGASSE
The exhibition “Positions 2018 - Digital City”
This is the continuation of "Darmstadt Lives. Art. Positions 2015," which was a great success, organized by artists from the Darmstadt Secession, the BBK (Professional Association of Visual Artists), and the independent art scene. The concept of a triennial was already central in 2015. This year's exhibition, organized by Darmstadt KulturStärken e.V., builds on the concept from three years ago, but with a focus on the digital city. This theme ties in with Darmstadt's receipt of the "Digital City" award in June 2017, as the winner of a city competition. From painting and sculpture to video, objects, and installations, "Positions 2018 – Digital City" presents a cross-section of works that explore digitalization and its impact on people and society. The exhibition is a project funded by the Frankfurt Rhine/Main Cultural Fund and supported by numerous other partners. The mayor of Darmstadt, Jochen Partsch, has assumed patronage of the exhibition.
The Frankfurt exhibition space EULENGASSE, with members of its art association, is also participating in this cross-city event and, as the third partner, is taking a position on the exhibition theme. The exchange of artists between these three cities is part of the project concept .
About my exhibited work: My objects are old found objects from the back rooms of my studio, a former bakery. An attempt to depict the distribution of food then and the related technological changes today in a new/old guise.
Regarding the topic of Digital & Analog, I was intrigued by the juxtaposition of old and new and the resulting new constellation.

-2018 in limbo – shows plankton-like plastic parts in their transformation into “plastic plankton” .
Massive ocean changes are underway that we don't see... or don't want to/can't see.
Over the past few decades, plastic waste floating in the oceans has been broken down into ever smaller pieces, known as "microplastics," by currents, weathering, and other factors. These particles sometimes resemble plankton in size, appearance, and buoyancy, mixing with it so that they are ingested by filter feeders and can have harmful effects. Microplastics are therefore sometimes referred to as "plastic plankton," although they have also been found in soil and drinking water. (From Wikipedia)
